Rick Perry throws stale red meat and buzz words at information challenged tea partiers

There are White people who refuse to accept the fact that an African American won the presidency in 2008 by a large margin over his White opponent, John McCain. These people commenced protesting against Barack Obama before he was inaugurated.

Several months ago Donald Trump revived the birther circus, glorifying in his ring master role. Everyone with an ounce of common sense knew that Trump was only interested in driving up ratings for his TV show The Apprentice. After signing for a new season he straightway dropped the charade and his plan to run for president.
 
Texas governor Rick Perry, after having dinner with Trump, came out of the dining room to throw left over steak at information challenged tea party folk. Tonight on MSNBC’s Chris Matthews' Hardball,  I saw an ad that Gov. Slick Rick Perry is running. It is chalk full of buzz words, dark and gloomy images signifying Obama’s presidency; the bright, busy images noting how Perry will change the country. At the end Perry (face unseen) rides up on a horse to save a dying America. He sees himself as the self-appointed hero who will vanquish President Obama in 2012. At the end of the ad are the words “An American.”

 “An American.” Now doesn’t that sound familiar? The ad implies that President Barack Obama is not an American. He’s a foreigner. Hawaii, the President's place of birth, is not a legitimate U. S. state! Whereas Slick Rick Perry platform to defeat the President, he is wasting time pumping vitamins into bedridden sound bites.

In his New York speech on Israel, Perry said President Obama is an "appeaser." Perry said the President's foreign policy regarding Israel is "dangerous." This foolish talk was, and still is the kooky meme of tea party politicians and Republicans.

In addition to remembering malnourished comments oozing out the mouths of these people,  I can still remember the homemade posters they proudly displayed at their protests at their anti-Obama protests. Children were holding posters they could not read or understand. Not many of the adults understood what they had scribbled on their homemade posters, ether!  Below are some of those racially tainted posters.

Sarah Palin has a fleet of complaints on her mind. She has to get them off her mind before the Rapture. The Alaskan Christian was holding court on Fox, getting interviewed by Judge Jeanine Perino. The subject was President Obama, a form of religion for Palin. 

Rehashing Obama's words and what he said about Israel, Palin said, “We the people need to rise up and say we’ll take a stand for Israel. We’ll be on their side even if our . . . I’m going to call him our 'temporary leader', because my goal is to make sure that President Obama isn’t reelected in 2012.”

If this is her goal, does that mean she is only going to run for president to knock Obama off his presidential pedestal? She did say if no one was interested in running for president in 2012, she would gladly consider it. 

Question: How quickly will she get bored and quit the presidency if she pulled off a victory?

Oops! Palin spoke too fast. Several Republicans have decided they want the job. But they are having a hard time staying put.  They are falling off the stage.  Palin, thinking she has staying power, is presupposing that voters are so unhappy with President Obama they will automatically vote for her. Maybe Governor Slick Rick Perry of Texas will be her running mate. They adore each other. Palin's ego will never allow her to be the second man on base again.
 
Palin's naive assumptions are likened to getting pregnant before getting marriage; or eating supper first and then saying  grace after the meal. Intellectually, she’s got a long way to go and a very short time to get there.
 
She demonstrated long ago that you cannot make a silk purse out of pig skin. Intellect and sophistication are not evident in Palin's resume.  She does not realize that the presidency has always been a temporary job. That’s why incumbents vie for a second term. It's a contest. After four or eight years in office it’s early retirement. There are no dictatorships in the U.S.

Palin is also revealing herself to be a thin skinned mudslinger, with a national stage on which she can hurl rants and raves. The down home country girl showboating does not work for me. She has, on occasion, referred to herself as a “redneck woman.” The question is, is she smarter than a redneck? The redneck woman tag is fine, but I expect her to have a larger vocabulary and a grasp of world issues. She cannot Twitter and Facebook world leaders. 

As I see it far too many Americans have been "intellectually downsized", rendering them incapable of understanding complex  problems and situations, let alone a complex statement with more than two "high flying words."

I’ve heard some people say President Obama uses too "many big words."  He is an educated man who earned his right to talk like an educated adult. I have no problem understanding him. I do not expect to  hear him talking sling, rap, or media driven sound bites.

A couple of weeks ago Chris Matthews of  Hardball on MSNBC  said, "We don't like to pick a president who is smarter than we are." His two guests looked at him, somewhat startled. They smiled but did not respond. I've heard other pundits complain that President Obama sounds too much  like a professor when addressing Americans. They ridicule his correct pronunciation of foreign presidents and countries. He does not sound "American" is the implication.

These same critics hang onto every word Plain writes on Facebook and Twitter. They reiterate her dear diary rants no matter how incoherent they are. They put Palin on the same plane as President Obama; however, press coverage of her is more positive compared to coverage of the President. Pundits say Palin talks in a way that enables people to relate to her. She is not an "elitist" professor. Her language is common. 

Personally, I'll take the elitist professor seven days out of seven. I do not want to hear elementary language coming from a U.S. president.  I do not like reality shows and  ringmasters pretending to be high level politicians.

Another racist billboard on display, thanks to tea party associate Paul Snover

Editorial cartoonist Paul Snover said he cannot tell who commissioned him to paint this billboard, or who paid for the space. After researching Snover on the Internet, there's no doubt in my mind who paid for this atrocious piece of garbagerot. Snover and his tea party associates paid for it. When I say "party associates" I am not talking about tea partiers on welfare, food stamps, getting Social Security and Medicaid. I am talking about the monied organizations and individuals who are banking on a big victory in the mid-term elections.

This billboard is not only printed in hundreds of newspapers in the U. S., but in foreign papers, too. The world is watching the racist treatment and profound contempt shown President Obama by White Americans.

Snover said he would like to take the poster on the road. He wants the one in Colorado to remain up until November 2. In addition to getting hate filled emails, Snover said he is getting donations from various donors who want the Colorado billboard to stay in place. According to Charles Ashby, The Daily Sentinel, Oct. 15, Snover said, “. . . the person who paid for it hoped to highlight elements of the president’s agenda, and everything in it is intended to be symbolic and shouldn’t be taken literally.

“It’s not that Obama is a terrorist or a gangster, it’s that mentality that seems to come across from him and his administration,” said Snover, who said more than half of the comments he has received have been positive.

“The Mexican drug smuggler, it’s the border issue in Arizona and him not willing to take it on and handle the situation. And with the gay problem, it’s the social justice issues and trying to manipulate things with that. With that billboard, there’s another good two years of life in it,” said Snover.

Snover is contradicting himself on the positive emails. The positives must be low volume because "negative" complaints have forced Snover take down the billboard. But the tea party  crowd in Colorado, the ones with no money said--to quote Sen. Boehner--“Hell no, you won’t!

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- A controversial billboard in Grand Junction has been taken down. You may recall earlier this week, this billboard on I-70B near Clifton stirred a lot of reaction.

The billboard depicted President Obama as a terrorist, a mobster, an illegal immigrant, and a gay man. The billboard also showed the president gambling away items like the Bible and Constitution.

The artist and sign's owner received a lot of hate mail, and even death threats since the billboard was put up. So Friday morning, the image was quickly taken down.

And that's something local Tea Party advocates say they are upset about. The Grand Junction Tea Party chapter will be protesting the removal of the billboard Saturday afternoon. They are meeting in front of the Old County Courthouse in Grand Junction. The protest starts at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tea Party protesters and their favorite descriptions of President Obama

President Barack Obama has always been called  names by those who despise him. The acrimonious language begin the minute Barack Obama announced that he was going to run for president. His staunchest critics, namely the Tea Party, have shown that there is no limit to their nastiness and Caucasian-Brain-On-Fire Derangement.

Who is responsible for spreading this brain numbing disease that has no cure? One lone African American man that was elected President of the United States. 

President Obama awakened these people's interest and apparent fascination with Hitler, Stalin, socialism, Marxism and communism.  They say that God was a capitalist, and President Obama is a commie socialist!

Their sick fascination tells me that these people have the personalities of the dictators they seem to love and hate simultaneously. What's funny is they are endeavoring to project those communistic personalities onto President Obama, who bears no resemblance to a communist or dictator, neither of which these Southern grassroot Tea Party can define.

I have complied a partial list of names President Obama is called by tea partiers along with their meaning.

1. Antichrist: One who denies or opposes Christ; specifically, a great antagonist expected to fill the world with wickedness but to be conquered forever by Christ at his second coming; a false Christ.

2. Stupid: Slow of mind; given to unintelligent decisions or acts; acting in an unintelligent or careless manner; lacking intelligence or reason..

3. Reverse Racist: Racial prejudice or discrimination.

4. Elitist: Leadership or rule by an elite; the selectivity of the elite; especially consciousness of being or belonging to an elite.

5. Tyrant: An absolute ruler unrestrained by law or constitution ; a usurper of sovereignty; a ruler who exercises absolute power oppressively or brutally; one resembling an oppressive ruler in the harsh use of authority or power.

6. Criminal: Guilty of crime; also of or befitting a criminal; a criminal mind.

7. Totalitarian: Of or relating to centralized control by an autocratic leader or hierarchy; authoritarian, dictator.

8. Corrupt: To change from good to bad in morals, manners, or actions; also bribe; to degrade with unsound principles or moral values.

9. Should be Impeached: To bring an accusation against; to charge with a crime or misdemeanor; specifically; to charge (a public official) before a competent tribunal with misconduct in office; to remove from office especially for misconduct.

10. Brownshirt: Nazi, storm trooper.

Marxist: The political, economic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx; especially a theory and practice of socialism including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society.

$650 billion is big government any calendar year

The tea party bug was planted February 19, 2009 by CNBC’s Rick Santelli. In one of his rants against President Obama’s plan for a tax-payers funded mortgage bailout. He announced loudly that there ought to be a tea party revolt against the government.

In November 2009, the newly formed tea party held a protest in Harrisburg, PA to protest the stimulus package. On February 7, 2009 and March 9, 2010, PA received $1, 878, 240. 00 (billion) out of a promised $7,443, 950. 00. Allocation of the funds is set for a two year period, providing each state adheres to the guidelines. President Obama made it clear early on that the money would not be issued in one lump sum. The media and pundits forget to throw in that one important fact when looking for reasons to fault the stimulus package.

The tea partiers should have known this when they commenced their protests.

They had plans to reorganize the government by blocking the President’s economic and environmental agenda, and proposed health care reform. They plan to replace any politician who does not agree with their stance on the stimulus package, bailouts (government loans), the size of government, how it should be run, higher taxes.

At some of their protests they have called for the impeachment of President Obama. Asked to cite the basis for impeachment, the response was they do not know. They will find a reason later, some said. Some protesters suggested that the President be charged with treason, all the while proclaiming he is not an American.

That’s what talking points will do for information challenged protesters who are not on top of the issues. They have no idea what impeachment entails.

Originally, the tea partiers named themselves after the Boston Tea Party protest of 1773. Of course they are nowhere close to the 1773 Tea Revolution, nor have they researched the meaning of “teabagger.” From what I have read, “teabagger” has a sexual connotation that does not lend itself to much imagination.

Definition: A man who dips his testicles into the mouth of another man (as if dipping a tea bag into hot water.)

The word has became a joke for comedians, and somewhere along the way, someone informed the 'teabaggers' what they are really saying about themselves, as opposed to what they thought  they were calling themselves. Some comedians, bloggers, pundits and journalists still refer to the groups as 'teabaggers', even though they are now calling themselves the Tea Party.

It is common to see tea parteirs protesters carrying provocative signs: They are losing their First Amendment rights as Americans. This is not the American they remember or know. They claim President Obama–a year and four months into his presidency--has systemically destroyed America. Tea partiers say they want the government to listen to them. They want to pay less taxes (which they are) and cut "unnecessary" programs from the budget. They want Social Security and Medicare left as is. Both sacred cows are hanging out in their back yards and fed by "the big government."

In 2009 almost 51 million Americans received $650 billion in benefits. Just think of the money that would add to the federal coffer if the acid tongued protesters returned their monthly checks, along with a letter stating they no longer need the big government benefits. 

Don't count on that happening! It is easier to be hate mongrels and hypocrites.

Mathematically, no matter what the Tea Party folks paid into FICA during their work history, after two or three years they become wards of the state, receiving welfare in the form of Social Security and Medicare. Their monetary add-in and take-out do not break even.

Glenn Beck, the Tea Party's educator-in-chief, got these folk riled about those Russian “czars” in the Obama administration. Neither Professor Beck, nor conservative hate talk radio and TV have opened their mouths about the number of czars the Bush administration employed, way outnumbering those in Obama’s administration. Having czars in presidential administrations dates back to Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Comedian Jeannie Garofulo, on Keith Olberman’s show, got it right when she said: “When Tea Partiers scream ‘I want my country back’ it’s code for ‘I want my White guy back.’”

Tea Part folk are not angry about the government. Their hate for a Black president is making them angry. They should read the 1773 Boston Tea Party history to learn the real reason for the revolt. The colonies felt they had a right to refuse paying the taxes required by the Townsend Act. They felt they had no obligation to pay the taxes imposed on them by the parliament, because they had no representation. It seems the crown’s attempt to tax tea catapulted the colonists into action. It laid the groundwork for the American Revolution.

The protesters should rename themselves The Frauds. Their feigned anger is nothing short of fraud. The media are trying to legitimize them as creditable "grassroots" organizations. American revolutionists? Naw. Too much of a stretch.

Show us the birth certificate!

Yesterday I called the Texas Department of Health Bureau of Vital Statistics in Austin, Texas to ask if an individual is given his/her original birth certificate upon request. My curiosity was peeked when I read that Republican Rep. Judy Burges, of Arizona is trying to get a birthers bill passed. The preliminary vote count was 31-22. The bill will have to undergo a formal vote before it goes to the Senate. Florida and Oklahoma pulled this prank and met with complete failure.

Arizona legislatures want all future presidential candidates to produce birth certificates if they want on the ballot. You do not have to be a mastermind to know this is about President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, and his right to be president. The tea party nitwits, the fruitcake politicians and copycat pundits are encouraging these people to act like ill-informed fools. They refuse to accept the president's birth certificate as posted online.

I never saw this kind of brouhaha about the birth place of any other president. No white man running for president has ever had to show his birth certificate, or show proof of his citizenship. If it happened, I must have been in a Rip Van Winkle type sleep, or in a self-induced coma.

If presidential candidate Hillary Clinton did not uncover evidence that Barack Obama is not an American born citizens–then there is no campaign Obama scandal waiting to be discovered. Clinton and her campaign looked under every rock, every bed, every closet, every closed door. They did a more than thorough job. I am sure John McCain conducted the same kind of search.

I think this pending Arizona Birthers Bill is silly. It is a waste of valuable time. But then, Republicans are good at wasting time. I keep looking at my calendar to remind myself that this is 2010, not 1810. In 1946 the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics designed a form for all states to utilize when recording a birth; however, the states were not obligated to use it. Each state was free to design its own form.

Birth certificates are titled (a) Certificate of Birth; (b) Certificate of Live Birth or (c) Certificate of Birth Registration. I have my Certificate of Birth. Not the original, a copy. I could not get the original even if I went to court, demanding that Texas not deny me the original certificate. Is it not my right to have the original certificate if I want it? Allow me to answer my own question: A resounding No! I do not have a right to the original. If I lose my photocopied copy, I can always get another one. If I had the original, lost it, how would I make a copy? Life as I know it would complicated. When a state agency ask to see proof of my age, place of birth, and if I am a citizen of the U.S., where is my proof? Word of mouth from friends and relatives won't cut it. I couldn't say: "Trust me. I am an American born citizen."

Before states were required to record births there were no official records prior to 1914. If you have researched your genealogy, you probably discovered that many of your ancestors’ birth dates were not officially recorded. Where your ancestors were born and their ages becomes a guessing game. Not having this vital information complicates your search. So it makes sense that original birth certificates not be issued to individuals, but remain with state registrars.

To state it simply–at least in my mind–the original birth certificate is the only tangible proof of where you were born, the hospital, the doctor, the parents, the time, family address, occupation of parents, their ages, mother’s maiden name (if married) and a state seal. Years ago in Austin a baby's birth was announced in the local newspapers if the couple was married; the same as President Obama’s birth announcement. Parents cannot stage these newspaper announcements decades in advance, foreseeing their adult son or daughter might run president of the U.S.

An employee at Vital Statics told me that no one gets original records of any kind. The State of Texas is in charge of those records, but upon request the individual, or an authorized individual can obtain a copy of a birth certificate. She explained the kinds of paper the copy is printed on, which has the Texas seal. She said she could not speak for other states, but she was sure no one was granted an original birth certificate.

All this birthers trash talking is about an African American holding the highest office in the history of the United States. His victory was not supposed to happen. Only white men win the presidency in America. That is this country’s history. Southern birthers are going insane. Needless to say, their propagandizing, hate talk and the shrill punditry began long before the 2008 election. Baseless accusations against candidate Obama has always been wildly out of control. As of 2010, the lies have gotten bigger.

But, and that is a big hypothetical but-- if muckrakers can prove Obama’s presidency is illegitimate because of the birth question, that will assure the ankle kickers that their suspicions, racism and hatred is justified. The next step will be to protest against everything President Obama has done since he has been in office. That proof will be reason to dismantle all legislation with his signature on it. No repeal. Just nullify.

Obama haters want an excuse to delete the election and his presidency. That is what they are aiming for with a blessing from the media. If this were to occur-- the deletion of Obama's presidency-- the unfolding event would be a magic victory for tea party Kool-Aid drinkers. Alas, they will find their lost freedom (that was never left). A battered, disregarded Constitution will find new life.

Those senior citizens who are not getting Medicare, Medicaid and VA checks can hang onto their right not to purchase big government run medical insurance. No more socialism, "Obamacare" and apologizing for America’s sins. Older citizens will be safe from government death panels and fatal pills. Health care law suits will vanish like a Houdini illusion. Presidential candidates won’t have to produce birth certificates. America will be true America again with the socialist black guy gone. Every thing will return to "normal" when the next white guy is elected president. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be in America? You betcha!
