Agitated Georgia businessman publicly tells the President to kiss his backside

Ray Gaster, Savannah, a Georgia businessman. proudly points at sign that
says "Obama can Kiss my ass."

A Savannah, Georgia businessman mentally turned flips because of a statement made by President Obama, regarding businesses and their success. Gaster contacted a severe case of annoyance when President Obama said:

“. . . You didn’t get there on your own. You’re not successful because you were smarter or work harder. Somebody built the roads and bridges to help your business thrive. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own.”  This statement was part of a stump speech he made
this July 13, in Roanoke, VA.

Ray Gaster, owner of Gaster Lumber and Hardware, used his company billboard to let President Obama know what he can do to a certain part of his (Gaster) anatomy. He said he built his business without government help. However, he forgot to mention that he uses government roads, bridges and highways to transport his merchandise to his customers. Government infrastructure aided in his success.  This all President Obama was saying.

Gaster refused to realize that he utilizes other entrepreneur's inventions and creations to supplement his success. Being a lumberman, he might have built his home and business, but I wager he did not build his own furniture and appliances to furnish either one. He purchased these items from other businesses that might have gotten a small business loan from SBA, a government agency. He did not grow the trees required to build homes.

Gaster is not the lone island he thinks he is. He did not write on his billboard if he has ever bided on government contracts, as was the case with several of the speakers at the Republican convention. Their successes were totally owed to multi-million-dollar government contracts they bided on.

Nonetheless, they boasted with pride, "I built that!" Those big government contracts were the reasons they are successful. Because he is in the lumber business, Gaster has probably bided on, and received government contracts. No matter the kinds of businesses independent people have created a percentage of them would be hard pressed to say that government agencies are not among their biggest customers.

President Obama did not accuse entrepreneurs of not building their own businesses. He said they were successful because they had help along the way. If truth be told, a lot of successful businesses were inherited from parents. In my eyes these inheritors cannot honestly say, "I built that!"

Gaster said when he heard President Obama’s remark, he decided to send a message to him in language "they understand in Chicago." Intent on building a coalition of businesspeople who stands on his sentiment, Gaster sent a photo of his billboard to 45 friends and business associates. He wants them to put up similar billboards and signs, sending a stronger message to President Obama. He appeared on Fox News to explain his outrage.

“We Built That” was the cornerstone of the Republican Convention held in Florida last month.

Another absurd threat to impeach the president if he doesn't dance to Republican's music

Texas Republican Rep. Pete Olson said a number of Republicans have been seriously contemplating impeaching President Obama if he uses the  Constitution to raise the debt ceiling. Huffington Post blogger Amanda Terkel wrote on Wednesday that Republican Tim Scott of South Carolina, said that move would be “an impeachable act.”

This is not surprising. There is not a Republican in Washington who does not claim to be a constitutional scholar. President Obama does not have to make such a claim. As professor he taught Constitutional Law for 12 years at the University of Chicago Law School. These Republican eager beavers should get out their copies of the Constitution and read it. Again and again and again.

The Constitution gives President Obama the right to raise the debt ceiling if Republicans continue nursing their shenanigans to protect millionaires and billionaires. They are also protecting their own financial interests. Many of them have become millionaires since holding office, especially seat warmers like John McCain, John Boehner, Eric Cantor and Orrin Hatch. Mitch McConnell. The list is long.

The 14th Amendment, Section 4: "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing o insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall held illegal and void.

A sitting president can be impeached for treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors. The House of Representatives has the sole power to impeach a president.  Removal of an impeached official is automatic upon criminal conviction as voted on by the Senate.

Two U.S. presidents have been impeached–Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, both of whom had a trial; both were acquitted. Richard Nixon most likely would have been impeached for the Watergate burglary had he not resigned. His impeachment had already been approved by the House Judiciary Committee.

President Obama is not guilty of committing a crime of any kind. Republicans are ready to get the Supreme Court involved in a debt ceiling lawsuit that would take years to resolve. President Obama has the 14th Amendment on his side. That’s what scares whining Republicans.

There have been other impeachment threats from Republicans: Rep. Trent Franks of Arizona was hell bent on impeaching President Obama if he did not backtrack on his stance regarding the Defense of Marriage Act. Franks is against gay marriage.

Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas threaten impeachment if President Obama did not do more to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States.

Rep. Tim Wallberg of Minnesota decided he was going to start impeachment proceedings if President Obama did not show his long form birth certificate. He said the president was not a U. S. citizen.

These low brow charlatans have lost sight of the reason they are in Washington. There is an old southern that says: "He's so bad he whips his own ass twice a week." These impeachment minded Republicans should take terms whipping each other's ass twice a day instead of twice a  week. Maybe it will awaken their single brain long enough to think instead of sitting on it.

Get ready for the return of Christ to the Twilight Zone in your neighborhood

Hurry! Hurry! You have only got six more days to get right with God! Make sure your personal business is in order. Close out all checking and saving accounts. Say goodbye to your friends and family.  Forget that divorce you planned to get. Amend all wrongs you have done to others. You do not want to meet Christ with a heavy, hateful heart. Behind on your bills? Forget about it.

Does this sound silly to you? It sounds silly to me, too. But I'll continue anyway.

On a late-night radio show Wednesday, a woman called in to say that she was getting ready for May 21. She was putting off surgery because she would not need it in heaven. The host of the show did not discourage her. His show primarily focuses is visiting aliens (outer space), conspiracy theories, flying saucers and self-healing. He does not believe that Osama bin Laden is really dead. He says the Navy SEALS killing bin Laden is a government trick.

His show is akin to the Twilight Zone. His listeners believe whatever he tells them, and it appears that he has a pretty large following of people who have had alien encounters. Some even say they have been abducted by aliens who kidnapped via spaceship, took them to their planets and experimented on them.

I laughed at these ridiculous exchanges. But wait! What if?  Naw. Christ is not coming next Saturday! I'll believe it when I see Him. Still . . . maybe I should cook a big meal just in case he drops by my house. Maybe I can win favor through his stomach.

T-Party Republcans pushing fast legislation to control a woman's womb

Another eyesore of ignorance is showcased by screwball Republicans
     ________________________

If this were the case, every 21 minutes hundreds of potential movers and shakers and laborers are also aborted. Many teachers and doctors are aborted. The list is endless. Right wing screwballs say abortion is genocide. They are overlooking children mills called foster homes, where children live with an assortment of abuses, neglect and death. These are feeling human who are physically aborted by the system and politicians that profess to love them while they are in their mother's wombs.

The above statement is not an indictment against all foster homes. Not all of them are bad. But take time to read news story sometimes. Take time to listen to news stories about children dying at the hands of stepmothers and stepfathers, biological mothers and fathers, boyfriends. Abortions would have relieved these babies and small children of the horrors and pain they suffered before death's mercy claimed them. Some of the babies survived their trauma, but some of them ended up mental cripples for the rest of their lives.

Years ago in my neighborhood a young mother of three stood by, and allowed her boyfriend to kick her two-year-old daughter in her stomach, killing her. Child Protective Services got involved, taking away the woman's other children. She was taken to court and reprimanded by the judge. She was ordered to go to parenting classes for six months, after which her children were returned to her. She moved, getting away from the condemning eyes of parents, namely mothers in the neighborhood. I don't recall what happened to the boyfriend.

Live children are not getting adopted by poster packing, protecting-the-fetus-loving Christians, who shout to the world that no woman has a right to get an abortion. What about the babies that are born and deserted? Born and abused? These protect-the-fetus phonies do not show concern or love for children they can see and touch. I have not seen these fetus lovers staging protests to protect live children who have been abandoned and abused. I have not heard of them adopting children housed in negligent foster care. I have not heard of them adopting children with handicaps or born to drug addicted mothers.

These neglected children do not make these do-gooders lose one good night's sleep. They would rather keep their heads up a woman's dress to see how pregnant she is. It's all political grandstanding and a hypocritical sideshow for the media and TV cameras. After the kid is born it's baby be damn.

Another racist billboard on display, thanks to tea party associate Paul Snover

Editorial cartoonist Paul Snover said he cannot tell who commissioned him to paint this billboard, or who paid for the space. After researching Snover on the Internet, there's no doubt in my mind who paid for this atrocious piece of garbagerot. Snover and his tea party associates paid for it. When I say "party associates" I am not talking about tea partiers on welfare, food stamps, getting Social Security and Medicaid. I am talking about the monied organizations and individuals who are banking on a big victory in the mid-term elections.

This billboard is not only printed in hundreds of newspapers in the U. S., but in foreign papers, too. The world is watching the racist treatment and profound contempt shown President Obama by White Americans.

Snover said he would like to take the poster on the road. He wants the one in Colorado to remain up until November 2. In addition to getting hate filled emails, Snover said he is getting donations from various donors who want the Colorado billboard to stay in place. According to Charles Ashby, The Daily Sentinel, Oct. 15, Snover said, “. . . the person who paid for it hoped to highlight elements of the president’s agenda, and everything in it is intended to be symbolic and shouldn’t be taken literally.

“It’s not that Obama is a terrorist or a gangster, it’s that mentality that seems to come across from him and his administration,” said Snover, who said more than half of the comments he has received have been positive.

“The Mexican drug smuggler, it’s the border issue in Arizona and him not willing to take it on and handle the situation. And with the gay problem, it’s the social justice issues and trying to manipulate things with that. With that billboard, there’s another good two years of life in it,” said Snover.

Snover is contradicting himself on the positive emails. The positives must be low volume because "negative" complaints have forced Snover take down the billboard. But the tea party  crowd in Colorado, the ones with no money said--to quote Sen. Boehner--“Hell no, you won’t!

Anti-Obama billboard by Paul Snover: Racist and Homophobic? Tea Party  supporter, editorial cartoonist, Paul Snover depicts Obama as a terrorist, gay, gangster, Mexican bandit

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- A controversial billboard in Grand Junction has been taken down. You may recall earlier this week, this billboard on I-70B near Clifton stirred a lot of reaction.

The billboard depicted President Obama as a terrorist, a mobster, an illegal immigrant, and a gay man. The billboard also showed the president gambling away items like the Bible and Constitution.

The artist and sign's owner received a lot of hate mail, and even death threats since the billboard was put up. So Friday morning, the image was quickly taken down.

And that's something local Tea Party advocates say they are upset about. The Grand Junction Tea Party chapter will be protesting the removal of the billboard Saturday afternoon. They are meeting in front of the Old County Courthouse in Grand Junction. The protest starts at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

'Now It's Personal!' What does this really mean?

'Now It's Personal!' More billboard stupidity
on display for the world to see.

So what else is new?

The day Barack Obama announced that he was running for president of the United States, it became "personal" with White folk who insist on living in the past. They want 2010 America to return to the “good old days”; back in the 1950s and 1960s. They still operate from the Jim Crow days when Black people "had a place" and they should the good sense stay in it.

At the onset of Obama’s campaign an elderly White male was so angry he could not hide his disgust. Interviewed by a blogger at a Tea Party rally, the man said without hesitation, "A nigger ain’t got no business running for president. Ain't no White man gonna listen to a nigger."  He said a "nigger" cannot run a country like America. He was taking “it personal” long before the  billboard popped up.

Fox news, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, the print media and pundits told White folks why they should be angry. They had a right to be angry about Obama's candidacy for a variety of reasons, one being he will "take our freedom" if he is elected.  White people were warned that America would never be the same if Obama becomes president.

I learned long ago: If you repeat a lie enough times the audience you are speaking to will accept the lie as truth. It is mob violence that verbally kicked into action by rabid perpetrators.

When protesters are asked why they are so angry at President Obama they say they do not like his policies.

"He is taking away our freedom."

"He is trying to get rid of the Constitution."

"We want our country back."

"He’s a dictator."

"He’s not a real American."

"He’s a socialist."

"We don’t want Obamacare."

Asked to explain themselves or give an example of how all these accusations are occurring, the dumb struck protesters have no answers. It appears they did not bother to form their own opinions or educate themselves about the issues. They like standing in the low information line, waiting to get their saucer of talking points from Republicans, who get their talking points from Rush Limbaugh and his ilk.

Former Texas Republican Rep. Dick Armey of Freedonmworks is using these protesting nitwits to catapult himself back into the political arena of power. Sarah Palin is playing them like a dime store fiddle to enhance her banking account. She has a ready-made market where she can sell her books, and  practice her presidential speechifying.

I find it funny the protesters are not willing to send back the monthly Social Security, Supplemental Security Income and Veteran Administration checks, with a note saying: Dear Big Government,  I do not want you in my business! Stop sending the government checks immediately. Keep your food stamps. I do not agree with that socialist Obama! So far there have been no reports of the government getting flooded with returned checks.

The bill board buyers are the ones with the money. They do not have to depend on monthly SS checks to survive. Dick Armey is a millionaire. The buyers of the bill board have not come forward. I say to them if you believe in what you say on the bill board, why not come forward and let us see your faces. Tells us the reason for the billboard. Explain your actions. Do not hide behind a spokesman's coattails. Hiding your face is cowardly. If the lot of you do not come forward for the world to see who you are, then you do not believe in your own "Now It's Personal" cause. As a group you are as fake as the politicians who encourage you to make absolute fools yourselves.
